News letter reflection

  • Being in group 1 my duty was to create the front page of the news letter. I did not have any story's to write because it was purely a graphical task.

  • I wanted to approach this as short and sweet to the point as possible but also adding elements that hooked the reader into further reading it.

  • I was very pleased with the final product of my news letter front cover. In my opinion all of the elements come together nicely and everything looks smooth and to the point.

Reflection Blog

1) (Q) What was the goal of project 4?
My goal that i was going for in my advertisement was to symbolize that the product does come from South America and its a wheat that grows near the mountain ranges of South America. I also want my advertisement to successfully appeal to the target audience.

2 (Q) What information did you get from the client about how to proceed with that project?
My client thought the use of an arrow pointing towards the Quinoa bag showing that the quinoa product now comes in 4 lb. bags.

3(Q) What did you create for the comp, and what was the reaction from you client?
My client thought my ad was great but that didn't mean there was not any room for improvement so i continued to work on my ad to further improve it.
4(Q) What changes did you make to your project?
I made a round circle with a transparent inner circle to highlight the 4 lb. bag of quinoa.
5(Q) How did you utilize members in your group for this project?
Me and my partners started throwing ideas at one another to further improve in our ad's we also helping each other with the build of our ad's by giving ideas on what goes where.
6(Q) How do you feel about your finished result of your projects?
I feel like my ad has really evolved during the project and my client and I think that my ad is very good

1 Picture Worth 1000 Words

This picture To me is worth a thousand words because It portrays the two presidential candidates verbally debating on there views of the future America. This picture is worth a thousand words because because you would be wondering what if the photo could speak what would the two be fighting over? World peace? War? it could be any of these topics and more its a wonder......
well (The Phrase) "A Picture Is Worth A Thousand words" Literally means you can make many assumptions, or ask so many questions that end up unanswered Towards a photo.

In lab #1 we took pictures outside of school in the courtyard we took a picture in 6 different angels

  • Close up
  • Landscape
  • High angle View
  • Low angle View
  • Eye Level View
  • Camera Angle
I took photos outside of my school. I then labeled all of the pictures using the text tool and wrote out my name the date and my class name. I moved the photos to nicely fit on the screen evenly.
